Okay so.... this was my first day at work.

Felt so jittery because it was my first time working, and when i was signing in on the attendance book i found out i was appointed to sell ink in a group with 2 other DHS girls + some other boys(men?) i didn't know at all and i was just like "i want to cry omg lokswen come close to me :(" The lady boss just dragged me over and briefly explained her products and their prices to me and telling me i can refer to a booklet if i needed help (LIES, all the numbers confused Xinni even more). So yeah, was still completely clueless as to what these refillable cartridges do and which of the 846784638564 inks and cartridges had special prices after a 30 minutes or so briefing. I must say i was utterly confused about everything.

This v is our unlimited supply of oxygen water that no one bought. 

(And look at this racy pictures. Dirty ol' tricks to attract customers.)

But by the second day people were more disapproving because they just got more and more... explicit.

Mothers dragged their kids away so fast and all the men's reactions were so hilarious, that there was a period of time where i just stood behind the counter for an hour or so just observing the people's reactions.

 By the 3rd day some men even stole the samples home. Sigh, men xD

  

Lunch was provided for us (yay!) but we had to eat in a very hobo way. Alone.

By hobo i meant sitting in a corner meant for goods and rubbish. People don't even bother looking over.

 

Kind of got scolded at the end of the day, because the lady boss said i need to speak up more and ask customers if they needed help and stuff.... and in my defense, most of the customers rejected me, the other two girls were more bubbly and customers liked them better, although even if i asked customers if they needed help i'll refer them to the other two girls anyway because i didn't know shit. Oops.

P/S: THERE WAS SOMEONE CUTE AT WORK; THAT IS ALL I AM GOING TO SAY.

2nd day of work

The lady boss must think i am a genius or something, because she made me sell paper the next day. But

then again it might be because Stephanie wasn't here and the two other girls arrived late than usual and there were ~seniors~ who could help out with selling the ink. Lokswen and me were just like, "It doesn't matter if we are confused does it, we still have to sell shit in the midst of our own confusion."

 However, this is ten times better than selling ink because people are more likely to purchase photo papers as compared to their rather dubious (to me that is, and some other hesitant customers) ink. 

Oh, and at this point of time i considered selling photo paper for the rest of my pathetic life if i really did 

turn out to be a failure in life like Mdm Lee thinks we would.

 

3rd day of work

Woke up and saw a magazine with all my favourite people on it :3

And a picture of me in the toilet @ my workplace lulz.

Feeling a little grumpy at work already.

 

Hobo lunch again!

And of course some oxygen water which is apparently beneficial to our health.

 

Charmaine came down and entertained us, which we are grateful for i guess, since there are hardly customers most of the time.  Mr Yahya came down to visit too! :') And stole a sexy Anne Hathaway picture but it's okay because he had nice intentions. He finds it hard to believe i am working though xD

L: Found a seat on the MRT back home which was really... rare. 

5th day of work (last!!!)

R: Had starbucks the next morning because we felt rather fatigued.

Usual camwhores again. Was too tired to care about having a nice attire by then.

I swear cute and pretty kids were the highlights of our days at work. Not difficult at all.

(and if we did meet some, as long as their parents purchased something it was ok)

 

 

The last hobo lunch, but it was the best one ever.

Lunch on the 4th day of work was... un-chewable.

 

This cute monster, had a lovely mother who was really pleasant to us all who were swooning over her bundle of joy after being so bored at work for like, 7 hours.

Today 12th June:

Spent all the dinner money i was given on work days by the boss AND my mum on a sushi feast *-*

Told myself i deserved every single bit of this cause i stood for 40 hours the whole week.

 No joke okay!

In my opinion i think the first half of my holidays are well spent.

Penang trip (church retreat) with my darling Agnes on the 15th, can't wait!
